As member of the Austrian Airlines Group, Tyrolean Airways are responsible for transporting the domestic and regional traffic onboard their aircraft equipped with up to 80 seats.
Tyrolean Airways connect on the one hand regions in Western and Eastern Europe to a vast network via Vienna, Austrian Airlines Group's hub, and on the other hand the Austrian market with two other important Star Alliance's hubs, Frankfurt and Munich. Furthermore, the airline offers several timesaving non-stop connections between the Austrian provinces and neighboring countries.
As member of the Star Alliance, the world's widest airline network, Tyrolean Airways open the door to more than 730 destinations on the five continents.
With a fleet of 40 jets and turboprops - among the youngest and most modern presently in service in the European regional traffic - Tyrolean Airways operate more than 1,450 flights a week to about 50 destinations.
Tyrolean Airways are renown for their reliability and high-quality service and standards, which brought them several international awards such as "Regional Airline of the Year 1997/98", which is awarded by the European Regions Airline Association (ERA) for outstanding achievements. Moreover Tyrolean Airways were elected "Regional Airlines of the Year 1998" by Air Transport World (ATW), the leading monthly magazine covering the global Airline Industry.
