Lindner Hotels & Resorts
| Description: | Lindner Hotels AG with registered office in Düsseldorf is part of the Lindner group of companies which was founded more than 30 years ago by the engineer and architect Otto Lindner. The architects’ office Lindner developped into Gebau AG, a real estate management company. In 1990, Rheinstern-Hotel GmbH which was founded in 1973 in the scope of the group of companies changed into today’s Lindner Hotels AG, a hundred percent family-owned concern.
The philosophy of the hotel group is to perfectly adjust to the needs of each individual guest according to the slogan "Lindner Hotels. Not just better. But different".
Today, the public company which recorded a sales volume of 77.2 million Euros in Germany in the year 2002, operates fifteen hotels in Germany, four hotels in Switzerland. In addition to three city hotels in Düsseldorf, Lindner Hotels AG is present in the cities of Frankfurt, Cologne, Wuppertal, Landshut, Leipzig, Leverkusen, Rees, and Pirmasens. Eight holiday hotels in Oberstaufen, Westerburg, Speyer, and Wenningstedt/Sylt as well as at the Swiss locations Crans-Montana, Leukerbad, and Interlaken complete the range of hotels offered.
A staff of more than 1,150 persons takes care of the guests’ well-being in the Lindner Hotels. The three Düsseldorf-based hotels "Lindner Congress Hotel", "Lindner Hotel Rhein Residence", and "Lindner Hotel Airport" as well as the "Lindner Boardinghouse Rheinhof" and the "Lindner Boardinghouse Messe Residence" make Lindner the most important rooms provider in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. In mid 1999, Europe’s first stadium hotel was opened in the BayArena of Leverkusen having the same name as the stadium: Lindner Hotel BayArena. In line with the niche policy of Lindner Hotels AG, this house was positioned as "loge seat - for business and sports". In spring 2000, the Lindner Hotel Dom Residence opened in the city of Cologne. Soon after that, Otto Lindner junior acquired two hotels and a thermal spring in Leukerbad in the Alps. At the beginning of the year 2002, the Lindner Hotel Rheinpark started in Rees and the group took over the Hotel Windrose in Wenningstedt/Sylt as well as the Grand Hotel Beau Rivage in Interlaken.
Lindner Hotels AG doesn’t offer a standardized brand but stands out for individual solutions matching the wants of its guests. For his extraordinary hotel concepts and his unconventional expansion projects, Otto Lindner jun. was honoured with "Hotelier of the year 1999". The popular Hotelier prize was awarded by ‘Deutscher Fachverlag’ (German specialized publishing house) being the editor of "NGZ - Der Hotelier". |
