Spanair    

Description: Spanair joined the Star Alliance on 1 April 2003 and is based on the Mediterranean island of Palma de Mallorca. Commencing operations in 1988, Spanair has grown to become Spain's second largest carrier. With a fleet of 50 aircraft Spanair covers not only Spain and the surrounding islands, it also flies to Germany, Scandinavia, Austria and Portugal.
