Scandic Hotels Frequent Guest Programme
The Scandic Hotels Guest Programme is a loyalty program used by Scandic Hotels, a chain hotel system in the Nordic region of Europe.
The membership levels of this loyalty program include first, second, third, and top floor levels. First-floor members earn 2,000 points to start, in addition to a free newspaper every day, discounts on Scandic Hotels’ restaurants and stores. The second-floor level includes additional awards beyond the first-floor level, such as a voucher for restaurants and stores in the hotels. To reach this level, members must spend five qualifying nights in a Scandic Hotel in a twelve-month period. As a third-floor member, program members will also be able to book free nights without restrictions. This level requires 25 qualifying nights in one twelve-month period. To reach the top-level membership, members must spend 45 qualifying nights in a twelve-month period in one of Scandic’s Hotels. Benefits to redeem include all of those of other levels, in addition to a 48-hour room guarantee and savings on paid television in the hotel room, among other benefits.
There are several ways to earn points with this frequent flyer program. One way is to spend a qualifying night at Scandic Hotels, which earns members 2,000 points minimum. Depending on the level of membership they have reached, members can also earn additional points per qualifying night. Membership levels from the second through the top floors earn 300 to 1,000 extra points per qualifying night. A qualifying night is one in which a member books a hotel room at a quoted rate found on the website scandichotels.com. A qualifying night, however, does not include rooms booked at a discount. Members can also earn miles with Scandic Hotels’ partners, including airlines and credit card companies. |
