Vietnam Airlines Golden Lotus Plus
The frequent flyer program for Vietnam Airlines is known as Golden Lotus Plus. This loyalty program has four tiers: Silver, Titanium, Gold and Platinum.
In order to qualify for Platinum status, a member must have 50,000 qualifying miles or have taken 50 eligible flights within a consecutive 12-month period. Gold members must have 30,000 qualifying miles or 30 eligibile flights within a consecutive 12-month period. Titanium member requirements are 15,000 qualifying miles or 20 eligible flights taken during 12 cosecutive months. The requirements for the Silver tier level are 1 qualifying mile or 1 flight taken at any time since becoming a member.
Members of the Golden Lotus Plus loyalty program earn miles whenever they travel on qualifying flights on Vietnam Airlines or SkyTeam airlines. Discount tickets, award tickets, or infant fares do not count as qualifying flights. Members at the top four tier levels can also earn points by doing business with certain banking, shopping, and hotel partners of the program.
Members of the various tiers can redeem miles and receive awards such as free tickets and upgrades. Tier membership also includes a host of other benefits both at airports and in-flight. |
