The British Airways Executive Club is a distinguished frequent flyer program that was born in September of 1995 with the intent to transform the air travel industry by giving back to loyal customers. And that it has done. If you fly with British Airways normally then you should definitely join this loyalty club to reap benefits such as priority on waiting lists for flight reservations, seating preferences on flights, access to a V.I.P. lounge, and much more.
There are three basic membership levels: blue, silver, and gold. There are no pre-requisitions for placement into the blue membership level. You achieve silver ranking by earning six hundred tier points or taking fifty flights with British Airways or one of their many partner airlines such as Mexicana or Qantas. Fifteen hundred points with British Airways flights will earn you a gold ranking. Note that upon gaining entry into the silver or gold levels, points earned reset every membership year.
It is easy to start earning points. You earn points and miles not only by flying British Airways or one of their partner airlines, staying in selected hotels, and renting cars, but also by using your British Airways credit card.
