LAN LanPass is a frequent flyer program administered by LAN Airlines that has about three million members, most of whom live in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and the United States.
The program has four different membership levels allowing you to earn points and redeem miles. LanPass is the entry-level. There are no requirements and no benefits. To qualify for the second level, LanPass Premium, you must fly 40,000 kilometers (24,855 miles) with LAN Airlines or another Oneworld airline, such as American Airlines, Japan Airlines or Qantas. At least four legs must be made with LAN. Or, you can complete 30 flight legs in a year with LAN. The rewards include coupons to upgrade your cabin class and 25% premium bonuses on your flight. To qualify for the third level, Lanpass Premium Silver, of this loyalty program, you must fly 80,000 kilometers within a year, four legs with LAN, or fly 60 segments with LAN. The awards include being able to bring an additional 10 kilograms of luggage when flying with LAN and access to all oneworld VIP lounges with a guest. You can reach the highest level,
LanPass Comodo, by flying 150,000 kilometers or by flying 100 segments with LAN in a year. At this level, you will not have any charge for LAN awards and your bonuses correspond to 100 percent of your flights with LAN. |
