US Airways Dividend Miles
There are many programs to benefit frequent travelers. Airlines attempt to gain loyalty through offering benefits to these travelers by helping them benefits to signing up for the program and using flying with their airline. US Airways Dividend Miles is a program that helps traveling consumers have a more enjoyable experience with US Airways on each flight. There are even different membership levels that come with specific benefits.
The original frequent flyer program is very easy to join and offers travelers an opportunity to earn miles just by doing every day things such as dining out and shopping, alongside using the Dividend Miles account number when traveling with US Airways. These miles can be redeemed to upgrade to first class on flights or reserve travel plans on days that are not usually award days.
However, one can qualify for preferred status within the US Airways Dividend Miles program. In order to qualify for such status, one needs a certain amount of Dividend Miles with US Airways, starting at 25,000 miles on the low end of the spectrum. The requirements are so high because of the benefits one receives with this status. Consumers of preffered status can choose special seating, have up to three bags checked for free, early boarding on flights, and many other features.
