La Quinta Returns

Many companies have a loyalty program in place from Visa and MasterCard to airlines and their "Frequent Flyer Programs" that they offer. The hotel business is no different. La Quinta Returns, an offering by the San Antonio, TX based company, is one designed to keep you coming back to their hotels to earn points redeemable for free nights and other awards.

The one thing that makes La Quinta Returns loyalty program different from so many is that you're earning awards for things other than free nights. This program is based on three tiers, silver, gold and elite. At silver level, you earn features like express check-in, late check out, online prize redemption and a members only 800 number to place reservations. At gold level, you receive all the silver awards as well as a 20% bonus on your points based on the dollars spent, two free certificates good to upgrade your room per year and free faxes. The elite tier gives you all the silver awards plus 30% bonus on your points, guaranteed room availability with 48 hours notice, no black out dates on your free night certificates and a free in-room gift.

The program is an excellent example of how a company is willing to work to earn your loyalty and repeat business. Ask about this program the next time you check in at a La Quinta and enjoy the benefits.
