Etihad Guest is the airline frequent flyer program for Etihad Airways which is the primary airline of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The loyalty program was established in 2006. Etihad Airways promotes its Etihad Guest Miles program as one of the most personalized and luxurious programs in the world. Miles are worth more with the Etihad Guest program than with other airline loyalty programs. The program allows you to gain immediate rewards once the first air mile is flown. There are no blackout periods and all seats are available at any time. Not only can members redeem their miles on flights but also on products and services that are available from the program’s Reward Shop. Jewelry, watches, electronics, worldwide travel packages, and other dining and nightlife experiences are some of the products and services that can be redeemed with the airline reward miles. The frequent flyer program has three tiers: Etihad Guest, Etihad Guest Silver and Etihad Guest Gold. The basic Guest tier provides bonus guest miles when flying Pearl Business or Diamond First class, cabin upgrades, family membership that allow up to 8 family members to pool guest miles, and access to the extended partner network. The Silver Tier, which begins at 25,000 miles includes all features of the Guest Tier and 25% extra Tier Miles, lounge access, excess baggage allowance, and other perks. The Gold Tier, which begins at 50,000 miles, includes all the Guest Tier amenities plus 50% extra Tier Miles, lounge access, excess baggage allowance, priority check-in, fast track immigration and baggage, and other great features.

To remain in the Silver level you need to earn 20.000 Miles or fly 15 Segments in 12 months.   Etihad Guest Gold - 50% extra Etihad Tier Miles on every flight. - Excess baggage allowance of 15 kgs. - Priority check-in and boarding. - Fast-track Immigration & baggage - Limousine transfers - Free concierge service at Abu Dhabi International Airport You need to reach 50,000 Etihad Guest Tier Miles or 40 Etihad Guest Tier Segments within any consecutive 12-month period to advance to Etihad Guest Gold. Once you reach your new tier, you only need to go on earning 40,000 Etihad Guest Tier Miles or 30 Etihad Guest Tier Segments in each subsequent calendar year to retain your status.
