Hertz #1 Awards
Free has a more prominent meaning these days as more people are seeking ways to save without sacrificing value. Money is tight, but some things must get done. Long before the Great Recession, Hertz developed, Hertz #1 Awards, a loyalty program for customers who frequently used its services. The program was not simply to encourage more spending, but to also offer value to customers.
Hertz #1 Awards has four membership levels: Hertz #1 Club is free, Hertz #1 Club Gold has a $60 annual membership fee; and, the Five Star Hertz #1 Club Gold and President's Circle Hertz #1 Club Gold are automatically earned with 10 and 40 annual rentals, respectively.
Members earn points with each qualifying car rental from the airport or at a local Hertz store. You are given a membership number after joining which is used to add points to your account. Just remember to include your membership code when scheduling a reservation to ensure that the points keep adding up.
You can begin receiving awards once you have earned 500 points. After 2,000 points, you can receive a free weekend rental. Frequent flyer miles are redeemable in 600 point increments and can be used with a number of participating airlines.
The more you rent, the more points you will earn, even if your insurance pays for a rental after an automobile accident or for repairs. |
